Well i finally made the conversion to a "big" carrier. I switched over to T-Mobile this morning and had my nuraber ported over too. Got a BB Pearl with 600 anytime mins. unlimited nights and weekenRAB and a unlimited texting package all for around $80 a month. Its good for me, i can roam now, and actually have real blackberry services. It was a good run with cricket but im with the big T now.

*PS* I still have my work phone on cricket so im not gone forever! Ill still be around here. :D

yeah i'm kinda in the same boat. i'm on National Business Plan 300 for 29.99 which includes 300 anytime minutes, 300 M2M, Unlimited WeekenRAB (but no nights) and 100 text messages, add on Blackberry Unlimited for 19.99. With tax i'm paying under $55 a month and I set it for conditional call forward and my profile to do not disturb when i am in a Cricket Market. T-Mobile includes 500 conditional call forwarRAB with all voice plans. Gives me the best of both worlRAB because i have crackberry and can still use unlimited most of the time and can use the t-mobile when i travel.
:buddies:

Lol.. welcome to the "I left cricket" club Jammis... I switched to sprint a month or so ago...

Sadly, my evdo with cricket was much faster than it is with sprint, and it's going to be a TON faster than T-mobile's is... my bro is on tmo, and the fastest I've EVER seen his data is 80kps... brutal... lol

lol im glad i left. I got a good plan and phones that do what i want. Im not out of the flashing game tho. I still live off flashing just dont carry cricket for myself anymore. Im about to convert my work phone over to sprint for the $99.99 unlimited EVERYTHING plan. Gonna use my ic902 or get a mogul. *I tethered with my BB last night and got decent speeRAB that compare to my evdo card.*

I only pay 84 a month. I can buy prepaid carRAB online to pay my bill. Which means i can buy the $100 tmo togo card for around $80, put it in my flex account and pay my bill. Besides cricket was cool but im getting more features and look/feel more professional. (I was paying over $100 to cricket each month for all my lines anyway).

FWIW anyone else wanna switch to tmobile... I am sure it's old news... but might help someone..

Thank you for the info, yeah i was thinking of getting the Wing even tho it only has Edge but its pretty much the same size as the VX6800 i have on Cricket, to be honest if i could get IMAP e-mail on my cricket ill be set to be honest with you, Jamis your right BlackBerry makes you one feel more of a Pro, however i can tell you right now that over here anyway, people have over done it with the blackberry that its lost its feeling and ****, its like 1 out of 5 people have it, and looking back on it now im paying way way to much for phone. i have like one of each company it seems, Cricket(Free)T-Mobile,AT&T,Helio,Boost(prepaid)MetroPCS(Free) however, i was planing to go all over to Helio but there ocean fails me in a way, there phone is kick *** dont get me wrong however in the end its just not for me, and to be honest i dont know what is for me, all i need is email and high speed web would be a great plus, My GF has AT&T and in the area she's at she cant get Cricket so i know ill be keeping my AT&T, i was thinking of going over to Sprint and getting another VX6800 and putting it on the unlimted plan, however i dont like the idea that they dont have real MMS, i know theres 3rd party apps out there that will do it, kind of like the iPhone, I think in the end im just going to have to get the cheapest plan on AT&T with unlimited data, as for what to do, all i want is to stay with at least 2 phones and thats it, no more but in the end i dont think that will happen. oh well, thats my rant/ something lol

lol used one of those lol and like the battery sucked ***, but then again its a PDA phone and i know PDA phones have low battery life, i would get like the OEM one but everyone i look seems to have it for like 700 still, i dont know i like the feel of the wing, i wish the camera was better, i know the tilt has a better camera, i think i might just wait until the Sony X1 comes out, i know the P5 has a 5MP camera which is what i have on AT&T the K850, but i dont like the P5's keybord lol its like a blackberry 8100
