Adhesive allergy/burn?

Hello...new to this but I am wondering if anyone has experienced what I now. About two weeks ago my daughter put a star shaped sticker on each of my bare shoulders. I took them off, showered and we went outside for the day. When I got home, I had what looked like burned star shapes on each of my shoulders. I thought that they would go away as I do have what seems to be a small allergy to adhesives (found this out after my c-section and the rash that wouldn't go away as a result of the tape for my bandages)but each time I go outside, they seem to get more burned into my skin. I think I actually have star shaped scars now??? Anyone seen anything like this before or have suggestions? Thanks...

It sounds like the adhesive bruised your skin or whatever you want to call it and now every time you go outside, that are of the skin is burning. I don't know what you did to get rid of it when you had the iissue before, but I would make sure that you either wear a top that covers that area, or put sunscreen on it. You obviously are allergic to certain adhesives, so I would recommend not letting your daughter decorate you again!LOL...

If you hare seeing your doc soon, you might ask for something for it. Or you might try using 1% hydrocortizone cream on it and see if that doesn't help some.

Good luck! Just be thankful it was star shaped!;)
