Adenoid removal.

We all know my favorite doctor, Dr. Becker....

And she has given me more WONDERFUL advice, as usual.

I speak....oddly. It's hard to explain. Sort of like I'm holding my nose and speaking. And the doc blames my adenoids for my retard speech.

And, as usual, no details on the procedure.
:gun:

Anyone know what the fuck it is? I googled it, bing'd it, ask'd it, wiki'd it...I've just run out of ridiculously idiotic places to search.

My answer from the genius Becker was, "...its not long."

wow. I thread about my health a lot.

Seriously. I would sooner seek advice from the random jackasses on the internet-at-large before I asked the random jackasses on wtf.com.

First hand experience here, but sorry, I don't really remember it. Had mine removed @ a very young age (younger than 3), they took the tonsils at the same time, as it was convenient. From what my mother tells me, they wanted to remove the adenoids because I was having difficulty breathing while I was sleeping.

I had my tonsils and adenoids removed when I was like 11. All I remember is eating a bunch of ice cream and playing a lot of NES though.

Edit: I remember that they used sheers to remove them. The doctor said it healed quicker than the laser, but bled more. Not sure if they even use anything but laser these days, but it's worth asking I guess.
