adding satelite radio to an 09 toyota corolla?

i might want to add satelite radio to my 09 corolla it has a sat button on the dash near the other sterio options but when i push it nothing happens. what do i need to get satelite radio. do i need to buy some other kind of unit. i want it all controlled by the cars built in radio
