Adding color to ceramic bathroom wall tiles?

My bathroom's wall is made out of ceramic tiles that has a rose design in the middle of certain tiles (it's like a pattern no rose, rose, no rose, etc etc) and i am wanting to know if there is any way to add color to a ceramic tile? because i would like to color the rose red or stain it somehow to really make the walls Pop! is this possible? i was thinking red permanent marker but i don't know if that would be too harsh or if it would even work. Any ideas?
And i am looking for something that would come off, whenever i would like to remove it.
 
Go to arts and craft store. Talk to friendly, helpful clerk. Ask for paints for decorating plates. Other paints may also work. I'm not sure how easy this would be to remove. Friendly clerk person will probably know.
