I first became an Expressvu customer in September 2004. I have one 3100 receiver which I own and now I am looking to add another SD box. I am not on a contract and my programming consists of the grandfathered Canada's Digital Advantage package minus a 20% "give me a discount or I'm cancelling" discount.

I was thinking of buying a used receiver locally for $40 and adding it to my account. How much extra each month will I have to pay? Is there an easier or cheaper way to do this?

Thanks!

Switch to the curent programming platform. To get the same channels it will cost you 52$

Here is what I suggest:

Digital Standard which will give you ABC-CBS-FOX-NBC-PBS-CityTV-TreehouseTV-CTV-YTV-CMT-W

Familly 1 which will give you Familly and Teletoon, you will also get uch Music, Much More Music, Game Show Network, Power 97, Contry 105, OZ, Classical 96.3 and The Edge that you were not getting before

News & learning 1 which will give you CNBC, CNN, CP24, CTS, Discovery, CNN Headline News, History, Reports on Buisness and TLC. It will also give you BBC World news, 680 News abd CJAD that you were ot getting before.

Lifestyle 1 which will give you Food, HGTV, Slice, Spike and Star. It will also give you Talk and Miracle that you are currently not getting.

Sports 1 that will give you Golf, Sportsnet, OLN, Speed and TSN. It will also add The score, WGN, NFL and Fan 590 that you are currently not geting.

Lifestyle 1 which will give you A&E, Bravo, Comedy, TV Tropolis and Space. It will aso give you Showcase, TLN and BET that you are not currently getting.

You will loose the French channel TV5 and TQS, or you can add them for 2$, it's called French Networks

You will also loose Much Vibe, which you can add as a pick and pay for 2.50$/month

I don't want to change my programming package, just add another receiver.

I'm sorry, but I don't understand how increasing my monthly charges by $18 for rearranging programming is going to help me do that.

GMD, as stated by Nimiq 1 I'm no longer an agent...

As an agent I might have not offered the option to go with the current programing package since the "upgrade" is less that way... I could have add the receivr, and the charg, briefly mentionning that he could go to current package and might save money, offered to send a brochure, or direct to the site, then proceed with the activation.

My answer was to show him the option availabe, for him to find the cheapeast way to do it. Just adding a receiver with his current package is 0.97$ more than moving to current programming package. If client wants Much Vibe, than it's cheaper to keep current package

35$ dollar fee applies (or applied) only if you are (were) activating a new account with a used receiver.

No, they seem to want to apply this charge any time they like.

I bought a 6100 at a yard sale, first call they wanted $35, I said i would wait a while, called 2 days later, it was added for free.....

If they try to charge it, just call back a day or too later, it can't cost any more....
