I currently own 2 2700's and I rent a 6141 for hd. If I was to purchase a 2nd hd receiver, are there any deals for me as an existing customer? Also are there any additional fees for a 2nd hd receiver?

Not sure about current deals but there are no extra charges for additional receivers, unless you rent them of course.

1 Brooker are you subscribing to HD theme packs or International stations located on Sat 82? [If you are you are not eligible for another free install.]

2 The only published deal right now would be if a retailer like Best Buy or Future Shop knocked their retail price down instore.

3 If you call the customer loyalty deptartment and threaten to cancel your services, you might be eligble for a loyalty offer. May I recommend you ask for the 24 months free rental on a 6131 or a 12 months rental discount on a 9241.

4 If you haven't bought your HDTV yet, some retailers should offer you a free HD Starter Kit
the starter kit gives you a load of benefits like $120 in savings of a HD rental and a 3 months free trial of HD programming (beyond that which is free) if you don't have it yet?

Seeing as he currently rents a I would think it pretty likely he already subscribes to the HD channels.

$100 off is for new customers.

You can buy a new receiver and put it in, but you may have to reconsider your switch setup, which can cost a little extra (maybe as much as $200, depending on your situation). If you're replacing a std def with a 6131, you should have no problems - you probably already have an SW-44.

Talking to retentions usually allows "new customer" deals to be passed on to existing (which is the way it should be anyway - or even better deals for existing......).

I currently do have an HDTV of course. I was thinking of replacing a 2700 receiver with a 6131 in the bedroom because I also have a smaller HDTV in there. The offer as I read it too is to buy it for $199. No other offer for existing customers. I wouldn't have to change switches or anything, it would be a simple switch over. I would hate to call Bell yet again to ask for some other type of credit or offer. I have to call every month when I get my bill since I got my HD in December because of a free HD receiver rental and free programming offer they never wanted to acknowledge I was entitled too. I swear they must know me by name now....

Places like Best Buy and Futureshop offer instant savings for the HD 6131.

Got it at $50 off [$149] about 2 weeks ago.
