he is funny and at least the plots differ and he comes across as a funny guy unlike cruise who is dreadful and he is movies always seem to go his great are something and then he loses his confidence and falls in love and becomes great
while hanks always seems to act the same and bores me to death, big is ok but he sucks in everything else and i am glad he is in the da vinci code cos i have no interest in the film, cos it is a pointless story (btw i am not religious it is just cos it is causing controversy over a character from another story book).

I loved him in The Wedding Singer, I loved that movie and his character Robbie was so sweet. Didn't enjoy 50 first dates - got bored about a 3rd of the way through.

I went to see Punch Drunk Love at the cinema and walked out after about half an hour, i had no idea what was going on. Can anyone explain the film to me as it has been annoying me for years that i never really knew what it was about! LOL

I totally agree that his movies are similar...well, they have different story lines, but his character is always the same...kinda dumb and funny at the same time. He's a good actor and I see why people like him, but I'm not a huge fan myself Even if he tried a different role, I don't think people would be able to take it seriously now! Not dissin him tho!
