this morning i watched waterboy with my mate and as i was watching it i was thinking that all Adam sandler films always have the same plot now i know what your thinking which is proberly "yeah we know" but have you got tired of the same old routine. which for example he has a girl friend and a great life then breaks up with his girl friend then doe's f**king mental then falls in love with a girl then stuff happens then Rob Schneider saiRAB "you can do it" then his a hero THE END. now i don't have a problem with Adam Sandler and he is a great actor but have you all got a bit tired of this routine I'll still watch an Adam Sandler film and enjoy it, i hav'nt seen the longest yard yet which i hear is a remake of a Burt RenolRAB movie but my mate told me that Schneider and i think the golf chouch from Happy Gilmore appear in it like in Little Nicky. so what do you think? post here.

Punch Drunk Love is a little different for Adam Sandler.

But yeah, to your point. I guess he knows what he does well and sticks with it. Nothing wrong with that, John Wayne made a career out of being a cowboy.

Punch Drunk Love was excelent. however his latest comedy is about an universal remote control that can control real life and has david hasslehoff and the fonz in it. so dont hold your breathe for another wonder

Not a fan of this guy at all I can count on one hand the amount of times I've laughed at his films.

Anger Management was very different role for him though.....but I stil hated it :D

He does pretty much play the same character, aye. Although like a few people have said Punch Drunk Love is the exception.

Isn't he meant to be the lead in Tarantino's long-awaited Inglorious BastarRAB?

Really enjoyed 50 First Dates :D Also liked Happy Gilmore when I first watched it about a year ago. Although I haven't watched it since....

I've only ever seen one Adam Sandler film, can't say they appeal to me :o

Jim Carrey, Adam Sandler and the like - all much of a muchness to me.

I caught a bit of the Steve Martin film "Mixed Nuts" the other week, Adam Sandler has a bit part in the film which is 99.9% the same character as the Waterboy! Both films are weak anyway...

At least I don't confuse him with Ben Stiller any more :)
