Acura Integra to Honda Accord?

My car transmission broke in half so I have to buy a new one. My question is if I could adopt a Honda Acura Integra transmission into my honda accord 1994. One of my friend have an integra in which he is not using so I was thinking that if I could use his transmission to put it in my honda that would be great. Can this be done or not?
 
oh ya it sure can with exceptions. need to make sure the acura is between 94 and 96 other yrs might work but i know these years work for sure. hope this helps
