Actors that you just 'don't get'....

Edward Norton--what a bore, with as much charisma as a plank of wood. And annoyingly, he's been in some films (like the Illusionist and The Painted Veil) that I'm sure I would have really enjoyed if he hadn't been the lead.

Reese Witherspoon's chin can open a tin of baked beans quicker than any other tin-opener around. She was critically acclaimed by Which? Magazine.

Keira Knightley is a pretty face - just a pretty face. When she ages, the only thing she'll be fit for is playing the evil witch in a fairytale - she'll still have the voice for it.

Brad Pitt is brilliant - sorry! Fight Club is one of the most important films ever made, and his character is the epitome of cool. He was good in Seven and Twelve Monkeys. He was good in the Ocean's films. He stole the show in True Romance. Give the guy a break. He's under-rated because he's so popular and hanRABome.

Ray Winston - Yeah, I don't get him. There must be thousanRAB of actors just as good as he is, but he seems to be preferred. I think his hard-man image gets him a lot of roles - I'm thinking about Cold Mountain and The Departed. Who can forget the best line of 2007:

"Oim facking Beowulf, from facking Landon!" :D

Ashton Kutcher. Stupid name, stupid gurning face, stupid hair, stupidly square jaw, stupid films, stupid MTV-shows with illiterate, unintelligible titles. Yet seems to inspire a change of Tena when/wherever he walks amongst the female population.

Isnt he in his 30's and acts like a teenager????

F*** OFF!!!!!

as for Adam Sadler- Jesus wept!! Had perhaps 1 or 2 decent roles.... HOW DOES that guy still manage to command lead performances?? I didn t think any of his films were big hits anyway..... and have U seen him in interviews??..... so personality free.....:mad:

:D I'm gutted I didn't see that now! :p

I can't recall seeing him in anything other than Scum so can't comment on his other stuff.

I'm adding Catherine Zeta Jones to this list. She seems to be under the impression that eveyone thinks she's still the darling from 'Darling BuRAB of May' so will lurve any film she's in.
That is not the case in fact. I never liked her in the very few eps of DB that I watched (cos nothing else was on telly at the time), and the only film I saw her in was Entrapment which put me off anything esle she did. She seems to play the cold, hard-faced bitch at all times, from film cilps I've seen with her in.
And marrying a popular actor the 80's/90's does not enhance ones credibility.

Watch 'The Offence', 'The Hill', 'The Man Who Would Be King' and 'The Molly Maguires', then tell me the man cannot act...

Daniel Craig

I am a huge fan of James Bond but cannot stand him as Bond. I think he was a hideous choice as Bond. Funnily enough I saw him in another film, The Invasion, and didn't mind him. Guess it's just when he's playing Bond that I can't bear the sight of him! His glum expression and delivery - save me from it.

John Wayne - terrible actor. Wooden as a forest. How he became a big star only God knows and he won't tell because he never watches any John Wayne DVRAB!

100 percent agree. Edward Norton - arguably the most lifeless big name actor in Hollywood. Has about as much animation to his acting as a corpse. His acting is the human equivalent of a dripping tap. Drip, drip, drip...

:D:D:D

It's quite an entertaining film, and the CGI is incredible. Plus, I found it educational. I didn't know Scandinavians had the London twang. :p

Maybe she loves him.

Will Farrell definitely. I cannot find the funny side of this man anywhere... I tried to watch a couple of his movies... swiched of after 15 min...

I 100% agree with you.

When i saw the title of this thread I immediately thought of Keira Knightly. I am just fascinated by her jaw, and spend every film starring at it. Its just a distraction for me.

daniel craig ...... worst bond ever ..even makes george lazenby and timothy dalton look good....my granny even would be a better bond than him!!!
