Actors Made For The Part.

Have to agree with Alan Rickman as Snape, and with Johnny Depp as Cap'n Jack.

Nathan Fillion as Mal ReynolRAB in Firefly/Serenity.

Tom Cruise as Lestat in Interview with the Vampire (his best and only truly GREAT role to date!)

Robert Englund as Freddy Kruegar in Nightmare on Elm Street.

Ben Browder as John Crichton in Farscape.

Jude Law as Dickie Greenleaf in The Talented Mr Ripley.

Antony Perkins as Norman Bates in Psycho.

Kathy Bates as Annie Wilkes in Misery.

Brad Pitt as Tyler Durton in Fight Club.

I'd definitely agree with Johnny Depp as Capt. Jack Sparrow and Alan Rickman as the Sheriff of Nottingham.

Also I'd add Alicia Silverstone as Cher in Clueless

Jphnny Depp seems to be made for every part he has. I've never seen him do an even slightly dodgy job yet. Could probably say the same for Al Pacino as well.

Jude Law as Dickie was inspired - he was wonderful in that fantastic film - overlooked all the time IMO.
Not a Law fan in general though!

Morgan Freeman in Shawshank as Red - born to do the role and perfect on every level!
Russell Crowe as Maximus - perfect and beautiful!

Joachim Phoenix as Johnny Cash in Walk the Line
Gary Oldman as Joe Orton in Prick Up Your Ears
(and actually the two co-stars in those movies... Reece Witherspoon as June Carter & Alfred Molina as Halliwell).

Me too! I really don't like him ... but as Dickie, brilliant. If only he'd gone for it in all the inspired roles instead of taking anything on offer!
Matt Damon is Talented Mr Ripley too... also, who else could've been the lead in Good Will Hunting? He was brilliant in that.
