Active Sync problem

Hi guys, I have a little problem. Im trying to install a program to my Tungsten T3 the program is betaplayer. When i run the program it says cannot install program active sync not found. So I find active sync and install it and it wont detect the handheld ?, I have tried it in the cradle and also with a usb cable that I have and still no good. Can someone please tell me what im doing wrong and how I go about installing .exe programs to my T3.

Active Sync is for Pocket PC devices......so that's a problem since the T3 is a Palm OS device and they aren't compatible.

Also, the PalmOS uses ....prc file extensions not exe files on the handheld.

Are you sure your in the right spot with these questions? What exactly is the name of the program you are trying to run?

its called betaplayer its a multimedia player so im obviously going down the wrong track. Im looking for a program that will play avi files that I have made with Pocket Divx Encoder. I rename them to .prc from .avi hotsync then in and rename them to .avi with mcfile because if I dont the kanomi starts to re-encode them. I was using MMPlayer to play the .avi files but its not free so I was looking for another player to play these avi files. (I hope this made sense) :(

I'm by far no expert on video on a Palm....I think it's too much pain.

You can try here for some freeware related to video that might help you out.

My friend PalmTealLover would also probably suggest TealMovie from Tealpoint software but it also would cost.

Good luck.
