After turning my soil from the summer (had had squash growing) I found white soil, a well known gardener on our loval tv news said it was "Actomycetes. Great stuff ".
Well I googled & found ACTINOmycetes instead (must've been his typo) & I'm also finding it can be harmful?
What should I do about my soil?
FarmCzar - Thank you! I actually had squash in there the last season & was going to use that bed for light feeders (beets, carrots, etc) this season. So this is wonderful news, thank you! I'm new at this & trying to learn the ins & outs.
