hi!i had the same problem too!!!it is a lot to do with hormonal irabalances...it also happens if u have had any contraceptive pills...my dermo prescribed!!aziwok 500 thrice a week and isotretinoin(accutane 20 mg)all 7 days along with adapalene application in the night....works the best..(in 2 weeks... .. got all my cystic acne to d base...now slowly even the redness is disappearing....its 4 weeks now.
any drug intake will hav side effects...!!!!but at d same time accutane is suppose to b the best treatment for cystic acne.
m gona have this till its all bak to normal...(as told by my doc..may be 3 months)and then with just applications!
