Acne red because I popped it and I am embarresed?

So I popped my acne...which was a really stupid thing to do....now its all red. Idk what to do? How do I get the redness to go away and also how do I prevent people from noticing it 2maro at school(I am against coverup) I hate when it turns into a scab! How do I prevent that!? please help!
