my doctor decided to switch my birth control from yazmin to loestrin 24 fe b/c of yasmin's increased risk for blood clots and what not.
the yasmin was working great for my skin though, never ever broke out.
well, now i am on loestrin 24 fe. i dont know if it's regularly prescribed for acne, but my face is breaking out like crazy (i've been on it for 3 weeks). does this kind of birth control pill normally cause acne for women or am i just experiencing an inital break out? i dont know why she'd prescribe me this drug if it caused me to break out.
i am going to ask about switching next month to yasmin unless there are some of you out there that love what this does for your skin. i'd really like to know.
