Acl 2009

for all of you music fans who slid, stomped, and splashed through the mud this weekend in Austin, who put on the best performance? who left you wanting more? I only got to go Sunday when Eddie Vedder finished off the weekend with what i thought was the best set, but i thought the arctic monkeys and girl talk contributed great performances as well.

i was skeptical about some of the other banRAB considering how much younger they all were than the well-established pearl jam. but i had never listened to the arctic monkeys but i will admit seeing them live has made me a fan and now "crying lightning" is one of the go-to songs in my library. the other banRAB were good at first but lost my interest after the first halves of their sets.

I listened to Favourite Worst Nightmare a while back by Arctic Monkeys on a friend's recommendation, but didn't really enjoy it at all.
