acid reflux?

I was wondering if anyone knew if my symptoms are acid reflux.
I suffered a family bereavement 10 days ago and a few days before she died i was getting a pain/ache in my left shoulder blade,left side of abdomen and left side breast pain.When i eat i get pains in these areas and i have diarrhea every day.I am really anxious and keep thnking i have something serious going on but everyone keeps saying its anxiety.
I dont really know what gerd or acid reflux feels like.Do you think stress has caused this?

First, so sorry for your loss. Stress can trigger or aggravate all kinRAB of symptoms.

May be a good idea to consult with your family doctor if these symptoms don't go away. You still need to figure out where they come from.

Usually, when I have GERD or reflux, taking an antiacid brings me relief from the pain and heartburn. It's a quickie way to get relief and try to pinpoint the cause. However, checking with your family doctor is a good first step to rule out something more serious like a heart problem. This is not to frighten you but merely to emphasize that we cannot really diagnose anything over an internet forum.

I am sorry for the loss of your family meraber.

Stress can reek havoc on the body but you must always rule out other potentially serious problems.

I have stomach ulcers, inflamed stomach and esophagus, GERD, AR, the whole nine yarRAB. The pain which I have is confined to these areas.

Rose is right. You need to see your doctor. This isn't meant to frighten you. It's just suggesting the best way to get to the root of the problem is by seeing your doctor.
