Acid reflux followed by flu like symptoms

10 days ago I started having broad chest pain which felt like pressure and like it could be relieved by burping. The pain was in my back too behind my chest. I also felt nauseated often. This was off and on for about 4 days, and my sister suggested acid reflux as the problem? Never had this sort of issue before, but at times, the pressure felt so heavy that it felt as though i couldn't get breather properly and get enough oxygen. I'm 28 years old and have had heart tests done within the last 12 months which were all normal (except for something called an ASI index which was borderline). Right as these symptoms were going away, I started to have an incredibly painful ache in my neck and felt generally achy in my head and body for the last week or so. Off and on dizziness/lightheadedness, but no fever or nausea. I thought it was the flu, but when I looked it up online, it comes with a high fever. I never get sick really (just seasonal allergies) and am just curious if the above issues are typical 1.) acid reflux and 2.) flu. To my knowledge, I have had no previous experience with either!

No, never looked into it. The only reason I went in for the heart work up was because I had previous chest pain and had high BP results at home, especially the diastolic reading. But heart results all turned out fine. Just was curious thought these recent ailments were a strange mix, but I really have nothing compare it to because, as stated previously, I have been fortunate enough to avoid common health problems like the cold and flu.
