I was working on my Acer laptop last night, and put it down for about ten seconds, then went back to it but it had switched itself off and I could not put it back on. It was running on an ac adapter at the time.
Now when I plug the adapter into the laptop, the light on the adapter flashes, and the light which detects the ac adapter on the laptop is off. (The light then stays steady on the adapter when I take it out of the laptop). What does this mean ? I only bought the adapter a couple of weeks ago, so it can't be that can it? I'm hoping against all hope that my laptop isn't faulty....what do you think?
