Acer Aspire 5542 Bluetooth help?

Ive got an Acer Aspite 5542 laptop and there is a button at the top of the keyboard which has a bluetooth sign on it but nothing happens when I press it and under the technical specs, it says this laptop has bluetooth. But then when I search for the bluetooth program/feature on here, nothing is recognised. Can somebody please help and tell me if there is actually bluetooth on here because why else would there be a button for it? Thanks
