After the HUGE disapointment i felt with Ace 2 i hope this doesn't happan. Carrey's moved on from doing stuff like that and it'll only end up like Dumb and Dumber 2 and Son of the Mask, terrible.

Sorry, but Jim Carrey will not be returning as Ace Ventura. They've tried to get him interested but he's not really keen. The film will focus on his son. You can read more about it by clicking here.

*sigh* It's "Son Of The Mask" all over again...sequel to Jim Carrey films without Jim Carrey...WHAT IS THE POINT!?!?

The only sequel to a Jim Carrey film, not featuring Jim Carrey, that looks good, is "Evan Almighty" because Steve Carell = funny and practically stole the show in "Bruce Almighty", plus it's not a sequel to a film that came out 13 years ago!!!

Yeh and there was Dub and Dumber the sequal to that was very bad.

I don't think any sequal should be done if they are not going to use the origonal cast.

When Carrey is the one that makes those movies worth anything you've got to ask yourself what's the point of a sequel without him? My guess is it will feature a 12-year-old kid basically doing a Carrey impression.
