Lots of new hd trackers have popped up lately. Frankly I don't find any of them to offer anything beyond what more general sites have. The peer numbers are lower too due to smaller userbase.

This design is nice and you have some experience, so maybe that will help, but I'm skeptical since I don't think the main site is really successful.
 
Hey guys I just joined this new(and by new I mean like it opened yesterday) tracker called Ace-HD. There are already 100+ torrents there and so far it looks like it has the potential to become an amazing HD site. I've tried two torrents so far and the speeds have been outstanding for a new site( I regularly max out my FIOS home connection) Anyways, I thought I would just let you guys know about this up and coming site. What do you guys think of it so far, and thoughts and comments on this site?

Hello and welcome to my review of the new HD tracker, Ace-HD. So this is a brand new HD tracker that is connected to AceTorrents.net(staffed by many of the same people). Both Scene and P2P HD releases are encouraged. In addition, the entire site is currently FREE LEECH.

Although it is brand new, I feel it has the potential to become a great HD tracker for a few reasons. It already has 230 torrents in ~72hours*, ~800* users, and many people can attest to the site's consistently great speeds.

As you can see it has a very clean design that is free from the clutter you see on most sites.( There are also seven different background colors )BTW PR0N is allowed,HOWEVER, for those users who do not like it there is the option to turn it off during the signup :-D

There is also an arcade with a lot of fun games! Including black jack where you can play for either fun, 100, 500, 1000, 3000, or even 5000 MB upload credit.

So far I would say the community is great, there is also an IRC channel+ help channel. TBH I have not seen on negative comment about this site so far, everything in the shoutbox and forums has all been positive. So come be a member of this great community ! :D

Well that makes sense. It just seems that nobody "sells" invites. Every site that "offers" them as an extra through donation says the same thing.

Its just kind of a turn off imo but I'm just one guy so it doesn't really matter. I'm already in so it doesn't bother me. I wouldn't donate if they were $1.

The site does have potential and hopefully it gets big. It seems like there are a number of newer HD sites trying to find their place right now. At least this one is backed by some people who have been in the game for a while.
 
Looks interesting. It might sound strange, but there never are enough HD sites. But being the suspicious type, I'll wait to check it out. Who knows if it's an MPAA sting site. :P
 
Where did you get that quote from? And lawl, it appears that guy who was complaining about acet was no more than a troll, hence the disable. Anyway, back to the point, no there are many different boxes on the site and I haven't seen one person complain of low speeds, I think it would probably be a problem on their end if they are getting 15kb/s as I regularly max out my fios.

The main site isn't really successful? :huh:
A few stats - It's got nearly 21,000 members, 6,217 torrents (71 added today and all hosted on gigabit seedboxes), seed/peer ratio of 1820%, nearly 600 active leechers at this exact moment, 1900 forum topics containing 30,000 posts and our irc channel usually has ~200 members. How is it not successful?
 
"but starting from now for every $30+ donation.. we will supply 1 invite...."

Supplying something in consideration of a payment is clearly a sale.

The price for an invite is way too high and I predict you will have to drop it if you want to reach your donation goals.
 
I almost never hear it mentioned anywhere near as much as other beginner sites. And 9000 or so peers on a 20k userbase is very mediocre, but that's what happens when you leave signups open and don't prune I guess.
