Accutane help

I finally started accutane about 3 weeks ago and I'm not sure if I'll continue for month 2. My liver functions are incredibly high which goes along with my cholestrol (I'm seeing a specialist who isn't concerned yet).... anyways...

After being on for 3 weeks I thought I would have at least seen some imporvement but nothing. I'm still breaking out. The only thing that's changed is that the swelling has done down in my jaw. I didn't realize my jaw line was ever swollen from the breakouts but it must have been.

I'm getting really discourgaged and was expecting to see some noticable improvment. I go back on Friday for my next blood test to see about continueing for month 2.

My side effects are fine. I only have very dry lips but I've been using aquaphor and it's perfect and my eyes are a little too dry for my contract so I'm stuck with my glasses. I'm on 80mg a day
 
Don't worry about quick results with this drug. I felt the exact same way as you! :D

I didn't see results right away but you will notice it gradually, did your Specialist talk to you about how long he expected your treatment to last? Mine was almost 8 months.

If you want to see the results after that, just let me know and I can email you proof of it working for me.

Some people talk about remission a couple years later, but I only get the occasional normal pimple here and there now.
