Accutane - Dry lips/skin question

been on accutane for about a month and a half now..while I love what it has done for my face and the lack of initial outbreak, i am having the usual issues with dry lips and skin. while i can handle dry lips, what i cant handle is all the skin around my lips peeling off, do others have this? when i wake up in the morning it seems taht all my skin is flaking off and it leaves a redish mark around my lips which looks awful! its been so bad i havent taken accutane the last couple days to see if it gets better. ive tried all kinRAB of moisterizers, but not sure what if anything will help this! any ideas?
 
DON'T STOP TAKING IT!!!!! it will so be worth it in the end. i had the same reaction to accutane and you just have to go through it...but dont stop taking it...your body neeRAB to do what it does in order for accutane to work.
 
I can totally sympathise, I am in the very same situation. But it is improving. I use a south african lirab balm called lip ice which is basically vaseline. I have one in every pocket at the moment! And resist the urge to pull off any bits of skin OUCH ;)
 
thanks for the replies. because of what you said vdoe, i started taking it again today. and zarabi, yes! thats the worst - peeling the skin off only makes it worth, but otherwise im flaking all over the place!
