Accidentally put leaded gasoline in the car?

Someone I know put leaded gasoline in a newer toyota that takes unleaded gas while they were traveling and had to drive a couple hours afterward.

Is this going to ruin the car? Should all the remaining gas be extracted?
Yes they do. It was specifically for antique cars.

if you used leaded gasoline it would ruin you oxygen sensor and would throw a code.
