I am trying to figure out what formula to use for this question:
A coil having 10,000 turns has 2 H of inductance. How much L if the number of turns is halved for the same coil length???
That is the whole question. I feel like I need more information to complete the problem, but that is all that is given. I thought it might be continuation of another problem but it isn't. I actually have the answer to the question (500mH), but I need to know how to work the problem, and what formula to use. Any ideas? It's driving me crazy!!!
