Alright. I have a 99 Jeep Wrangler Sport. 4.0L in-line 6.
I have to replace the AC Compressor but everywhere I go the replacement part they have for my model isn't the same as the original. I've checked dealers, auto parts salesmen, online, and all they are doing is looking in a book and reading a number off. No-one has helped me yet. My Compressor was built in Japan and all other 99 jeep compressors i have seen are built in either the US or Mexico. Not sure why mine would be any different. (yes I bought it new from the dealer). I looked at a 97 Jeep Cherokee and it looks like a match except for the connection. Even 99 jeep wranglers that are salvaged don't have the same part. Has anyone had this problem and do you have any idea where I can find a replacement for the original.
