About what time period did the man and woman get booted out of the garden of Eden? ?

I'm not asking about when did Moses allegedly record it, but when did it actually happen? Humans have been around for many hundreds of thousands of years so it had to be at least 700,000 years ago. Any ideas?
6,000-10,000 years ago?! That's impossible. What about all the people who lived before that time? Adam and Eve were supposed to be the first. I don't understand.
 
They claim it was 6,000 - 10,000 years ago according to the Bible. The OT is extremely detailed about ages of people and family lines.
