about to take the G.E.D. test. any advice?

I signed up for the test. I had to drop out of school in 12th grade because my child became sick, and i could no longer bring him with me. any advice? how hard is it? should i be worried?
 
I dropped out in the eleventh grade and when I took the test it really seemed like things that I learned in 9th grade. I personally thought it was too easy, but it's a different test depending on where you live. I took the test in Texas and I'm not sure if it's easier or harder there than most other states.
