It depends what you need it for.
To tell you the truth, the only real thing iPhone have with their phone is looks, ease of use and "apparent cheapness".
Cheapness isn't true though, because it is really expensive in the long run because you pay for a contract that cons you out of your money because you cannot buy the iPhone with out a contract.
I would look elsewhere for features, such as a Blackberry which has a mountain of things you can do on it business wise which the iPhone lacks.
I would wait until it's available to buy without any contracts, otherwise your getting fleeced out of your money just because it's "a new gadget" that makes you think you need it.
