about the baby biorb fish tank?

i have got a baby biorb and got it running but the air pump is really loud is this normal if so is there another type i can use and what kind of fish can i put in it any comments welcome thanks

You can quieten the pump by standing it on a sponge.

As for stocking really you can only have one Betta (siamese fighting fish) and the tank is barely large enough for one of these.

IMO these tanks should not be sold for fish as they are not suitable and in parts of Europe they can only be sold for shrimp keeping. A group of cherry or crystal shrimp instead of fish is an option.

the pump is loud at first but give it a week or two and it will calm down

The pump shouldn't be loud, I'd take it back.

These bowls are designed to look pretty on a desk, but the design is actually lousy in every way for fish keeping. It is not good for communities or goldfish.

In the end you can only keep a few very small fish, but you do have a couple of options. Some guppies or a betta or small school of small tetra. A couple of ghost shrimp will go well with the guppies or tetras.
