About that generator

Back a while ago when the snow was flying, a discussion began here
about needing or wanting a generator. One of the caveats was about
ppl forgetting to do some kind of maintenance on it before the spring
into summer put-away. I'm not sure what that entailed, (emptying it
of fuel, maybe?) but I vowed to remind generator owners to do this
once winter ended. By the way, I don't have one or want one, thank
you.

THIS IS THAT REMINDER, FOLKS. HTH.

(Jill's food bank reminder spurred me onward.)

Also, not a bad time to start planning to empty the freezer, all
'youse' in hurricane country.

I have a generator, but we don't get snow...... just storms that give us
(sometimes) days of no power.

Funnily enough, it gets the most use during summer.

My husband moved here from PA and he used to complain about getting
lawnmowers, etc. running. It does not get that cold here in Louisiana,
so we do not do anything before or after winter. I gave my generator
away when I moved, but it never gave me any problems. I would start it a
couple of times a year, but I might go 5 years without using it. Thanks
for the reminders for those who need it.
