 Oh, no - I know what the game is. I just couldn't recall if our "Movie Scattegories Game" was created as a Movie Board variation of the "6 Degrees." For some reason I don't think or six-degrees game was straight foward...

 Thanks! If you could find it that would be awesome :)

To refresh your memory 6 Degrees of Kevin Bacon is just connecting the actors through costars they've worked with. You have to be able to do it with no more than 6 people .. Here's an example of the game

Connect Kevin Bacon to Freddie Prinze Jr.

1)Kevin Bacon was in Hollow Man with Elisabeth Shue
2)Elisabeth Shue was in Leaving Las Vegas with Nick Cage
3)Nick Cage was in Con Air with Monica Potter
4)Monica Potter was in Head Over Heals with Freddie Prinze Jr.

So I was able to connect them with 4 people. So then since I was able to do it I'd then name two actors for others to try.

Oh, bless you - you're more than welcome on this board!

I can't stand the Actor/Movie thread, but we keep it out of tradition because it was one of the first two games when the boards were first created, and because for some people it helps them break the ice on the board (which is perfectly valid and keeps me from campaigning against closing it permanently - we love new posters and want them to feel comfortable).

We did try a 6-Degrees type thread, and I thought the Movie Scattegories thread was like that - you might want to check that out first. I'm not sure why the 6-Degrees one didn't work if that's not the same thing, and it could be it's simply down on page 10 and people aren't playing it right now.

I'll try and look into the matter this weekend when I have more time...

I didn't know where to post this but I wanted to make a suggestion for a new thread. I know that we have a Actor/Movie Association thread but I think it's really too easy for people. Can we actually play 6 Degrees? Have someone name 2 actors and the first person who gets an answer just names 2 more actors. I'm still somewhat new to this thread so I don't know if it's already been done. I just think it's more of a challenge then the Actor/Movie Association game.

I love spoilers and was wonderin if anyone saw the film' Loving Annabelle'?

Oh, good point - although they could do it the old fashion way by just providing spaces with the words, "Spoiler alert." I was more referring to those who don't seem to care and simply post as if everyone's seen the film and they can say whatever they like about it. *sigh*

Especially when a movie isn't out yet, if someone wants to discuss important plot points, ending, twists, etc, it has to be said on the thread title or someone can change the threa title to add "Spoiler Warning" when someobody starts a spoilery discussion. :)

The use of spoiler space is always the best move even if the title has a warning.

And again, it is perfectly okay to start separate Spoilers/No Spoilers thread for the same movie.

:)

quick question. If the movie hasn't come out yet and there's no mention of it being "spoiler free" then anyone can post any spoilers about the movie ? (even though it hasn't come out yet?

Hey all - this isn't going to work if you continually forget to use spoiler spaces. Grr.

Come on - be considered of your fellow movie lovers, okay? Thanks.
