Hello and welcome, Tami! :wave::love:

Amazing post, great choices! I also love Spanish horror/mysteries. They always have the most fantastic atmosphere and tone.

 Hello. I'm Tami. I'm 22 and I'm from Slovenia/Europe.

Favorite film: It's a tie between The Philadelphia Story and Rear Window.

Favorite romance: I don't want to repeat myself so let's say Love Actually.

Favorite comedy: Bringing Up Baby.

Favorite trilogy: Indiana Jones. I don't consider the number 4 to be an Indy movie.

Favorite horror: El Orfanato. I love Spanish and Japanese horror movies.

Favorite animated movie: Either Wall-E or Spirited Away.

Favorite musical: The Sound of Music, but I love almost all of them. :D

As you can see I'm a classic movies fan. I could easily live with watching just those for the rest of my life. :D Hitchcock is my favorite director. I also love Cukor, Wilder and many more. All my favorite actors/actresses and movies are from 30's-50's. I'm kind of into French New Wave movies at the moment. I especially like Truffaut's movies.
I also love animated movies(especially Miyazaki ones). My favorite movie of 2009 is either The Education or Up In the Air.

I think that's enough for now. :D Anyway I love watching movies. All kinds. Today I saw The Match Point. As much as I like Woody Allen, I didn't think it was anything special.

Hi  I'm Michelle. I watch any kind of film really, but i do love a good comedy/romcom or psychological thriller.

I love to watch any Leonardo Dicaprio movies.
I never missed any movie of Leonardo Dicaprio.

Me too! The last 15 minutes of Big Fish made me teary. I'm a sucker for father/son stories, so it got to me. Hehe.

So true about The Prestige! The "tricks" are great because they play for the audience and the characters. It's a trippy good movie. :D I heard the book is a lot 'darker'. I hope to read it one day.

That's a great way to describe it. There is just something about it. One of the few films that actually makes me a bit sniffly too.

Yeah same here i love all the twists and turns. It's like a proper old fashioned film, just relying on the strength of the story. And you usually see something you didn't before every time you watch it. I'd love to read the book.
