About Sony digital camera?

Hi to all dudes and divas out there!!!!!!
I have recently bought a Sony digital camera some of my friends say that when you are not using the camera you should take the battery out of it while others say me that there is no harm in keeping the battery inside the camera. My question is this I don't use use my camera very frequently which is safe to keep the camera with battery inside it or to remove the battery and then store it ah?

Well I think that Cyber-shot cameras from Sony comes in different lines of T W, S, E and series to meet different levels of photographers such as novice users, intermediate and advanced. Lines and different body types and groups of advanced features ranging from the sound to the basic models of medium-sized cameras, more advanced and largest.
