Finally got round to watching this on Channel 4 last night. What a great film & the ending took me totally by surprise. One of the most moving endings I've seen to any film.

I didn't know what to think of it. I enjoyed it and found part hilarious but it seemed abit..pointless.

My 15 year old son watched it with me and he now wants it on DVD. Jack is brilliant, as always.

The point of the film to me was, though you might not think you've left your mark on the world, you probably have made a difference to someone, somewhere. And thats all that matters, really

I too thought that at times it was going nowhere, yet I was compelled to watch, can't say I loved it, but it was a thought provoking film, and I did enjoy it! The end was sweet!

Sideways was fantastic! And I'm not middle aged... though yes the film was about middle aged people ... why not?

About Schmidt was very good too. Dark comedy.... I love it!
