about php...........?

ok so i have started watching and learning php from http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EwJujkxYLZs as someone sujested in one of my other questions, i was just wondering if that was all there was to learn in php and is it just genaral knowlage what to use and where when making a script, e.g use GET and POST etc...

Most if not all of those tutorials just give you the basic foundation to writing in PHP. You could study your life away and still not know it all. Once you know the basics you can decide what direction you want to go with it.

Personally I like the social networks and using the api codes
