about my boss amp with kickers?

ok i need somone to tell me the exact settings to set my 800w boss amp so that i wont blow my kicker comps? do i need to have my range or whatever all the way down? i turned it down sounds like no subs? idk im new to whole sound system stuff let me know b4 i mess somthing up please.
 
that things not gona blow...you can crank the subs..trust me...just make sure its not rattling or sounds distorted
 
The exact settings will be when the system sounds good- full fidelity without distorsion or mechanical noise, rattling and sheet metal ringing and license plate flapping.
