My parents are in deep debt. Now I know everybody is going through this. I understand it's tough for everyone. And I'm sorry that anyone has to go through this at all. I feel bad for my parents. My parents make a little bit over 4,000 a month and we bought the house for about 300,000. It is a tiny town house and our neighbors just bought theirs for 100,000. We have to pay a lot of money for the house and sometimes, we don't have food to eat, let a lone buying clothes. With half the payment we do with this house, we could live in a nice single house. But both their names are on the contract and if they turn the house in their credit scores will be terrible.
Is there anyway that they can get out of this situation and get another home. (Please don't recommend me any scams. we're in enough trouble.) Or is there any kind of debt relief for the situation?
