Education is not free in the USA. It is possible to get a scholarship that will pay for all of your schooling but they are very, very, very difficult to get. Most scholarships only cover a tiny percentage of school costs, between a few hundred and a few thousand dollars.
There are many government funds in place for American students to get aid to help with college but most of those funds are not available to foreign students.
