About American Culture. Do women in US accept easilly to share expenses at home?

Well in my country(Mexico) women expect that men pays the rent, the cable, the electricity the gasoline etc, and they (women) just save their money in the bank. Ladies with or without higher education expect tghat men pays everything and they just spend their wage in salads and at restaurant with their female friends.

WHAT ABOUT IN US ?

Well the question is that if in US women accept to share expenses at home. I mean men gives half of the rent, lady the other half, men pays the telephone and internet, lady pays the gas and water, etc etc.

pd: tAKING IN COUNT THERE ARE NO CHILDREN. (if there are children well it logical the men has to support)
 
some women in the US don't work even if they don't have children because this is what their husbands want. but if a woman works and a man works, then they usually share the responsibility of the bills.
 
Yeah, it varies, some women are more "traditional" than others, but generally in American culture women prefer being more independent.

A woman who did what you described in America (i.e., expect the man to pay for everything) would probably be labeled as a "gold digger".
 
In the united states most men and women put their wages into the same bank account, then pay what needs paying out of that account
