about air-brushing , painting a hood of a car?

auto body painters out there- help! car we bought is absolutely wonderful mechanical and body condition...but, from the highway miles, there are rock chips on the hood only (maybe 50-60 of them), the lady touched them up with a colored little brush stick, and is noticeable....can a painter do an inexpensive "air brushing" i think it is, for a very reasonable price? please advise..thanks
