About a surgery I had

Around 7 years ago, I had major surgery on my stomach to have a benign tumor removed that was pressing up against my right kidney.

Recently I been noticing that my scar has been slightly peeling, like small flakes of dead skin, there have also been small spots that look kind of red. Would this be anything to worry about? Should I see a doctor to have it checked out?
 
Is it the whole incision or just part of it? Is it in a fold of your skin?

Have you used any creams on it? You could try an antifungal or just hydrocortisone .5% over the counter to see if it improves.
