my best advice to you right now would be to obtain your OWN copies of all and any testing that has been done on you and read thru them yourself just to see what 'abnormal" actually means. it comes down to how the test is done and what is actually there and able to be picked up,you know what i mean? it does sound pretty crazy to have a "normal' MRI and abnormal CT,but it does probably have to do more with what the CT is able to see and what an MRI is able to see.they use different things to obtain pics, with CT able to really see the harder structures much more clearly and the MRI,the softer tissue structures. so it IS possible. what exactly was not normal with your neuro exam? that would tell alot too.

you just really NEED your own copies of those reports. all you have to do is get one from your docs office(you do not have to wait til a appt, just sign a release of info and they will get one for you) or from the facility who did your films too. same thing, sign a release and get the report. but you need to know what abnormal is. it could be something small or big, depending upon what was found. knowing why these tests were performed and your neuro status would help alot to help you.

once you obtain your copies of those reports,if you could simply type out what was found in that summary at the very end,it would help tons to help you figure this out. its just important to see just how any radiologist actually words a finding as to what they feel about it. the doc may agree or disagree but all this is is an interpretation done buy a radiologist not any level of real specialist. keep that in mind too. just let me know whatyou find out,K? good luck with whatever came up abnormal. Im seeing my neoraligist on october 21st. What was was abnormal was a positive babinki reflex where the toes curl out ward instead of inward with a object like a key scraped acros the heel and foot. I definitly plan on getting all the films and reports. Worst part is now i keep dropping things no matter how careful i am keep tripping and have trouble picking up and handling small items like pills. its maddening to barely be able to take my pills because i keep dropping them :( as well as not handling small items or being unable to tie knots

Thank you and god bless you for your support. im going to keep you posted definitly

you also mentioned a CT that was abnormal along with the positive babinski. what was found in that CT report? it wouldn't hurt to also get that c spine checked out too. alot of neuro issues can actually be stemming from direct nerve root contact/impingement or other problems that can just affect nerve function within the spine or the spinal cord itself. please let me know what you find out on the 21rst. make certain to have all your hard films for the neuro.
