ab lounge workouts routines?

ok so i'm 15, and my mom got an ab lounge but she never uses, so i got one but i was wondering?
does it really help you lose inches and get abs.
because i wanna lose weight(skinny) and get some abs, but i dont wanna be too built, i just want my stomach to look good
so will the ab lounge help with that?
 
I've never heard of the ab lounge, but personally, I think it's a waste. Remember: it's just a machine. No one knows your body like you do. The best way to get a flatter stomach is core work; ab exercises. Crunches, bicycle crunches (ask around if you don't know what these are), military plank (that's fantastic), etc. BUT DO NOT WORK ONLY ON YOUR ABS!!!! It's been proven now that with only ab muscles holding up your spine, it will collapse unless there are muscles on the side to hold it up. So do side military planks A LOT. Do planks. Do crunches. But ditch the machine. I'm 16, and I've been through something similar. Try joining the running team at your school.
