I used to have sprint and had an a900. When I found out that cricket was cdma, i googled a900 cricket and found many message boarRAB with info on how to do this. So here's what I did. I had previously used qpst to put ringtones and games on my a900, so I have used the program before. I downloaded cricket prl_1039.prl and renamed it to prl_0000 and used qpst to put it in nam/prl over the top of the prl_0000 file that was there. I did it this way because I couldn't get the service programming in qpst to recognize the phone. Anyways the phone rebooted, gets to the pcs vision screen, right before the screen that says looking for service, but then just keeps rebooting. Is there a way to fix this or should I just throw it away? I went ahead and activated a cdm-7025 (the cheap cricket phone) thinking that if i can find a way to get my a900 out of the reboot loop i could switch to it later. If anyone knows how to get the phone back to a state where i can reprogram it again, it would be greatly appreciated. PS. The data on the phone isn't all that important, so a factory reset would be okay with me.
