still working on it but i cant seem to find a place to put the cricket password on and now my mms doesn't work at all i dont even recieve pictures to look up on the cricket website now any help would be much appreciated. I started working on the ##3282# settings and i got a little lost
 
they are very confusing to a newb which i am lol but it i am learning alot as i got i have changed my port settings and my user nai and im not sure what else to work with yet any suggestions
 
I think the secret to MMS and WAP on any Sprint phone lies in the phone's own ##DATA# menus. Other than setting the M.IP profile to Simple Only using another software tool. I don't know because I haven't gotten that deep with a Sprint phone yet save my PPC 6700 which is literally a breeze to configure for MMS and WAP.

But take a hanRABet like the Motorola: If you use the right tools, you can get MMS and WAP to work with them no problem. The same should be true for other models of Sprint phones. It's all in the settings I bet, and as soon as I can get my grubby paws on a data cable and charger for this A900 I will start digging.
 
i havent gotten a program to work with it yet you gotr any suggestions i tried qpst and it says can not read NV version so i dont really know what to do lol
 
You need a specific tool to unlock the NV items on the phone and BitPim or QPST will read it just fine.

OR you need to be able to put the phone in offline mode (I think).
 
MMS will never work on sprint phones...
Sorry but its true.
Sprint does not have a real MMS setup like cricket and verizon so this cause's problems with mms as far as wap there might be hope...
Unless sprint starts changing some **** MMS wont work.
 
Yea, you can change the upload address and all that stuff there. I did it when I was messing with the Sprint V9m. I forget what menu it was under but I know I was able to change the values.
 
umm no. sprint does not use a phone based mms client. sprint's picture mail is vision based. unless you can flash your phone to another carrier's firmware or install an mms client onto a smartphone like the 6700/6800, sprint's firmware does not contain an mms client. this has been posted several times before. mms will not work on sprint firmware phones. period. until sprint decides to get with the program and change their mms over to a real mms system to allow creation of mms messages on the phone without requiring you to connect to vision.
