A75 DIY data cable from C25 & Joker issues...???

Hello

Can someone sort me out with some info, please...

I am trying to mod C25 cable to unlock A75... - ever done before?



I can't get Joker to comunnicate with A75, so...


1. Do I have to cut PCB trace (do a TP) even to start communication?

2. I am asking that beacouse I think that I made cable well (As I did for old SEMC phones - pictured above) but I am unable to communicate with A75...

Hi,
you need to identify RX; TX and GND functions from your data cable first.
After, you need to connect on the Lumberg Slim connector in the following order:
-RX pin4
-TX pin3
-GND pin2 See on attachemment for the DCA500 cable schematic

Regarding to the testpoint, of course, you need to cut way to realise connection with your phone....

I'll try with 10K resistors on RX & TX to GND

- pinouts on pinouts.ru are confuzing (Siemens mostely) beacouse Linberg and other Siemens conn's, are simetrical, so you never know the perspective (conn. side ? wire side? PCB side??!)

I think that max232 in cable is defective... (cable haven't been tested before modding)

...Siemens DCA500 serial cable not use the RX and TX connection to GND with 10 Kohms resistor....
Just connect RX, TX and GND from your cable to the Lumberg Slim connector (Siemens connector). If not working, try to solder RX cable to TX connector and TX cable to RX connector.
